Amazing hike
Victor_Y, 15-09-2022
The most amazing hike I have ever done. The guides add great background during the trek; history, wildlife, fauna, etc. our guide (Juan?) did a great job keeping our group of about 30 engaged throughout. The hike itself, while not difficult, takes time. Mostly because there are 1000 photo opportunities. The views are spectacular!!!! The que to get into the park was a bit tedious but it is a popular tour. If you are not fond of heights, this may not be for you.
Amazing experience

Amazing experience, a bit confusing instructions from the tour guide, but all in all very enriching tour.
Well worth it!

Amazing day, felt really safe and secure and the views are incredible. We got put with an English speaking guy who was superb, so informative, funny and friendly
Really great day trip

Really great tour. Well organized. Could have had better communication on front end. They kept saying to contact the office to confirm pick up location, we were on a cruise ship. Not easy to connect.
Breathtaking

Awesome experience to walk this trail. We saw goat ! But it is a big group organisation near 60 persons at a time. And be ready for the multiples flight of stair just at the end of the 5km walk. At the begining we stopped in a small city call Ardales and the guide let you explore for around 1h. Going uphill for a good 2km walk to the cathedral is not worth it, I would wander around the town, shop and take a coffee instead.
Amazing experience

The trip was great! We left at 10 AM from Malaga by bus, we stopped for an hour in Ardales, a nice little quaint village where we were able to eat some brunch and prepare for the trip, and then we went with a huge group. The view was amazing!! the bridge is majestic and the gorges are really intimidating, but in a very good way. The organisers were spot on, the trip went great.
Beware however: at the entry of the National park: there is a tunnel. In that tunnel, pick-pocketers are always present. We caught 2, while they tried opening a man’s backpack (the man was from our group). The way they operate: these 2 women were obviously not with our group, they infiltrated in our group, they had their phones’ light turned on, and they were pretending to be filming, but this was a diversion, as the light was too strong for us to see that their hands were trying to open backpacks. But, the tour operators warned us about them. So: beware!
I do recommend visiting this area, it is amazing! 2 hours of continuous walking, no climbing, wear comfy shoes, but NOT sandals. Trekking shoes are not mandatory, gym/running shoes also work, but there is a lot of dust in some areas, and your shoes will come out very dusty.
Breathtaking scenic walk

Breathtaking scenery. Very informative guides. Exhilarating walk across the suspension bridge. Would highly recommend this walk, we had a great time.

The views and walk was great. Our english speaking guide was super - energetic, with a food sense of humor.
Great natural sceneries and local stories
Travel235690, 22-09-2022
The walk was amazing! Opportunity to see some great natural scenery and hear local stories. Walk was adventurous but not dangerous, anyone who is reasonably fit and not too scared of hight can do it. The only downside is the drop off took too long if you destination is Malaga, as it is the last stop.
Spectacular walk not for the feint hearted
joelk2013, 10-09-2022
Very nice trail hike with spectacular view. Better than we expected. Go see for yourself. Pictures can never do this justice. 4 stars because guide did not have a microphone so it was very hard to hear what they said. And when you did hear the information was kind of boring. Atleast for us.
Unbelievable, A must see!

We visited the Caminito Del Ray in early September as we had booked a holiday to Malaga and all of our friends had said it was a must see. They weren't wrong. This tour was absolutely amazing. Our tour guide Luiz was friendly and charming. He knew all about the history and told all of the tourists in English, Spanish, French and German. The views from the peak were beyond belief and I highly highly suggest that if you are in Malaga, you go and have a look. The tour was great because you can do it at your own pace and finish off with a beverage (we suggest the fresh orange juice). The only downside to this visit was the swarm of wasps that seem to want to eat everything at the very end of the tour but this can't be helped. A must see for tourists.
Great day

Great day out..only downside was we could not get fresh food beforehand as it was so early..food at the 2 stops I wouldn't like... Thought we'd get maybe bacon or fried egg toast or chips but only ham rolls ..didn't look too good & alot left behind by others..so bring food with you..saw one of the people with lovely tub of salad that they made.. great idea..toilets at first stop and again at your entrance which was great.. would love to have had time to visit the village but toilet queues took up the time we had..guide excellent and an incredible day had by all..
Must see place, big group tour
Chelsea D, 07-12-2022
Caminito Del Rey is a must see/experience. But know that this is a big group tour (approximately 50 people) which may not be for everyone. The tour guide, Miguel, had to repeat all the information in 5 languages so that took time and I think limited what he could tell us because it took so long to repeat everything. It would have been better if the tour only had one or maybe two languages in a group. But overall it was a good experience, absolutely beautiful views, I just wouldn't go on such a big group trip again.
