Excellent tour with a knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide, Philippe. Highlight of our visit, with lots of insight into the food culture and delicious too
A brilliant introduction to Malaga

Felipe was a fantastic guide and most of the info was delivered while we were sitting down and tasting. They give you a dining guide afterwards so you can really make the best of the city's food and wine. Highly recommended.
Fantastic Morning

We had a lovely, tasty and educational morning with Felipe in Malaga. The sights and smells were sensational and wandering round with a guide takes the guess work out of deciding where and what to eat so that your subsequent choices are more likely to be successful.

When we visited, Malaga was a lot busier on Saturday with tours and tourists than during the week so you might want to bear that in mind when booking your tour.

Big thumbs up from us
Wonderful introduction to tapas and Malaga

The tour was outstanding. Javi met us exactly as planned, and we had almost 4 hours of tasting and smelling and learning about the delicious food of Malaga. After a brief and interesting orientation about Malaga and its recent transformation, we went to the beautiful market and dug right in. Light, crispy fried anchovies and eggplant spears, plus cool but tasty peppers. Then to the olive stand. I do not enjoy olives, but here I was asking for seconds. Then almonds, including stuffed in dried figs on the spot. All within a gorgeous array of fruit, meats, fish, vegetables, impeccably clean.

From there to a charcuterie to taste and learn about cheeses, jamon and salamis, accompanied by artisanal sweet vermouth. Two more stops with tapas and wine. Lovely!

Javi was outstanding! He divided his attention among the group, so everyone felt included (we had never met before but were chatting in no time), was a fount of information about what we were eating, how it is made, etc, plus the surrounding Malaga area.

I highly recommend this tour!
Fantastic experience

Felipe uncovered a number of myths of tapas and the food and drinks of Malaga. Great fun, interesting and informative. Friendly and right sized group, well paced tour.
No Paella sandwiches here, thank you.
First class!

Brilliant! Felipe is an excellent guide and very knowledgeable about everything Malaga! He had 5 wonderful eateries chosen which all welcomed us with happy smiley faces.

Only 10 people on the tour so we always felt comfortable asking questions.

The food and wines were very tasty with options available for all dietary requirements.

Highly recommended

Javi was an excellent guide, he was very friendly had a comprehensive knowldege of local food and history. He made sure everyone on the tour felt included and dietary needs were met. The food and drinks provided were delicious and substanial. We tried some of Javi's other restauant/bar recommendations and were not disappointed. Definately one of the best food tours we have experienced.

Great experience! Our guide, Javi, was fantastic. We had a wonderful time walking, talking, learning about the city and eating delicious food. What a great way to start our vacation! You are also given a dining guide map at the end with great suggestions.
Fantastic tour!

We did the small group food tour at 11:00 am. As it happened, we were the only people so we had a private 3 1/2 tour through the big market in Malaga as well as a few restaurants. It was fabulous! We got a really good sense of Spanish food and particularly regional food. It has made the rest of our stay in Malaga much more enjoyable. At the end of the tour, we were given a map with various restaurant recommendations. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about food and culture in general. Highly recommend!
Good Food

Good Food But Maybe Tour Could be a Bit Shorter
Kenneth_K, 29-11-2022
Our tour guide was Philippe who was quite knowledgable about the history and food of Malaga. We really enjoyed the fried eggplant jamon, olive oils that we were able to sample. We also loved seeing the main market place with all the vendors selling meat, fish, and fruits & vegetables.

The ony thing I could recomend is that tour guide spend more time talking when we are eating and less talking while we are standing around in the street. It felt like there was a bit more waiting around than I had on other food tours. Also
