Don Paco (Francisco) hosted a lovely private tour for my husband and me. He was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, funny, and so enjoyable to spend 4 hours with! We toured the old town area of Málaga, and saw the Alcazar, the Cathedral, during which Don Paco narrated with enthusiasm and wit. Our tapas and wine experiences were A+ with such deliciousness and lovely service. We highly recommend this tour!

Very interesting and comprehensive tour of the cathedral and the fort. Our guide was fantastic and the wine and tapas part was really wonderful. Lots of tasty food! We enjoyed the list of recommended restaurants as well and that was very much appreciated.
Great Experience and excelent guide

We met with Damian at pickup location near McDonald's. We had the opportunity to be only with him (3 peoples in total). The Malaga tour was exceptional and Damian is like Malaga Wikipedia :) . We stop at 2 beautiful restaurants, great food and drinks. At first place we went behind the counter and we have choose our own Tapas.
Per total was a great experience, highly recommend Damian for this tour.

Great tour with a knowledgeable tour guide. one of the best tours we had in Spain. It was a 1 on 1 tour that showed us the best of Malaga with food included. The tour guide had great customer service and attention to detail. Highly recommend this tour. 10/10
We Love Malaga, too!

When nobody in your group has ever booked a private excursion instead of a cruise excursion before, the pressure is on you, the one who set it up. WHEW! Damian from "We Love Malaga" proved me right. The six of us had no problem getting to the only McDonald's in town from our Viking ship's port shuttle where Damian met us to begin our terrific tour of Malaga. The pace he set was perfect for us (all near 70 years old), and his commentary along the way was knowledgeable, interesting, and professional. After the historical part of the tour, we visited Dos Gatos for wine and the incredible tapas we got to choose from behind the counter. Our second tapas and wine stop was more upscale where we dined outdoors on tapas selected by Damian. We had a memorable experience. We Love Malaga, too!

This was an amazing tour. Damian was our tour guide from “I Love Malaga”…he grew up in Malaga and his family has been conducting tours for years. Fun, informative, wonderful historical knowledge and intimate small group. A mix of several historical sites, pointing out landmarks along the way with information only a local can provide. Tapas stops were excellent! We even were able to go behind the bar and kitchen to see all the food preparation. Highly recommend this tour. Not to be missed.

As with all Viatours I have done, the local guide (Pacco) was extremely knowledgeable. I !earned so much about the sites we visited and its history. But the best part were the p!aces he took us for tapas, not the touristy ones, but where !locals eat and we got to try things I would not have known to order which were amazing. This tour is a great value!!

Damien was a great tour guide. He and his family are born and raised in Malaga. He was so knowledgeable about its history and culture. It was a very nice 4 hours spent.
Malaga Walking Tour

We have been to Malaga on several occasions before but decided to use an official tour guide to tell us all about this beautiful city. Our guide, Victor, was well informed, friendly and professional. We visited the Cathedral, the Fortress and the Roman Theatre before stopping off at two traditional Spanish restaurants for authentic tapas and drinks, which were delicious.
The tour was really enjoyable and I would recommend it highly.

Incredible Tour and Guide

My family met with Victor at the designated location (took about 10 minutes and costed €8 from the cruise port). The McDonald's has free Wi-Fi which made it easy to call him through Whatsapp and the cab driver knew the McDonald's to drop us off at.
Victor was immediately personable and accommodating to us and our family. He blended both English and Spanish for us (my daughter still struggles with Spanish but is learning) and made the tour so enjoyable.
He involved my daughter in the tour to keep her engaged and she loved every minute of the tour. At the end of it we walked about 15K steps and didn't even notice.
The sights were amazing, the photo opportunities were incredible, and the amount of history that Victor knew seemed endless (I tried testing him myself and he didn't slip up once). The food at the end was delicious and Victor had such great energy that my daughter was adventurous enough to try some tapas.
I cannot recommend Victor and his company enough to anyone who just has a short time in Malaga. You will not regret it!

Almost canceled, hubby could no longer attend, went to meet guide, and he immediatly put me at ease, and suggested we just walk around and see how it goes, 4 hours later, visited Cathedral, museums, great tapas at a Gatos, and samples on the market.
