What To Expect
La Herradura
The natural park 'Los Acantilados de Cerro Gordo' is between La Herradura and Maro on the Mediterranean coast. Starting from the beach of La Herradura, The Natural Park has a surprising variety of flora and fauna, terrestrial and aquatic. Mainly accessible only from the sea, you can enjoy its many cliffs, caves, beaches, coves, rocky areas and corners of extraordinary beauty.
The guided kayak tour is combined with snorkeling in the natural park.
For beginners, the instructors will give an explanation of how to use kayak and snorkeling equipment so that you have the basic knowledge about the safety and concepts of both sports in order to enjoy the trip safely.

This was such a fantastic trip!! Our guide, Pablo, was amazing. He was able to speak to all of us in English, Spanish and French which meant everyone felt included and got the most out of the morning. His instructions were clear, so we all felt safe, but most of all he made it fun. Thank you to Pablo and all of his team who made this a morning to remember! We were laughing from start to finish. I 100% recommend using them for your next adventure!

We had a nice tour…. The guys were really friendly and polite. We visited a cave and did some snorkeling. Been away for almost 2.5 hours.

Our guide was great! He made sure everyone was comfortable in the kayak, provided all essential gear, and told us all about our surroundings. We saw a mom and baby mountain goat, sea caves, and glowing purple jellyfish (which from our guide's experience, is not common around there, but we thought it was very cool).

We went with our adult children. The water is so clear and beautiful. The guide pointed out coral on the rocks and "tomato" like growth on the rocks that were interesting to see. The cave and the snorkeling were all very worthwhile.
